General Discussion

I would like links to open in a new tab.

I'm a frequent user of this community and one of the very few things that annoys me is that the links open in the same tab.

Every now and then, someone posts a snapshot or a link the the project or course they are working on and i want to keep an eye on the question but see what they are doing as well. If the link should open in a new tab, it would be a lot easier to distinguish the different things i am looking for.

I might be a simple man and get distracted too fast though. :P

For the record, i do know and use the open in new tab method, of course. It just seems like it would be easier if links would do this themselves.

As a habit I open all links in a new tab anyway but you're right I do I agree with would be a very handy little feature. :)

Yeah, when i think of it, me too. Right click, open in new tab... But i would like to see it implemented since i forget it quite a lot. :P

I'm like Jonathan. I've just got into the habit of always right-click and open-in-new-tab. This way it always will, especially since I've noticed most links 'everywhere' don't open in a new tab.

When you are clicking on a link just hold down ctrl. so ctrl + clicking the link will open the link in a new tab

good habit that i've gotten used to doing :)
