i would say the anwser would be a function del(planned)

del(planned)

You're right that you need to use del to delete planned. However, when you use del, it needs to come before the object that you wish to delete. Here's how you would delete a variable:

>>> food = 'Tacos'
>>> del food

This erases the variable from your code. Try it out with the variable planned :)
