I am trying to link the text field emailField in the .xib file to the .swift file (I'm not using the storyboard).
Here's the code:
class ViewController: UIViewController {
@IBOutlet weak var emailField: UITextField!
}
However, the outlet does not show up in the File's Owner, and when I control-drag to the .swift file, I get an error saying "ViewController does not have an outlet named emailField.
