Just an idea for a new forum feature...
When posting on the forum it would be cool if there were two text areas - one for your post or comment, and a separate box below for code that would automatically format it correctly (Or perhaps a button that says something like "Add code").
I think it would help a lot of new users get answers quicker if they don't have to go back and figure out how to repost their code. And of course this feature wouldn't need to eliminate the backticks for writing inline code, but I think it would be handy to not have to format it.
