if else statement

var a = 10; var b = 20; var c = 30; if (a>b) { alert("a is greater than b.") }else{ alert("a is not greater than b.") }

its showing Bummer! I don't see the message "a is not greater than b". Check the conditional statement is correct.

It could be as simple as cleaning it up with semi-colons as it is correct otherwise

var a = 10;
var b = 20;
var c = 30;
if (a > b) {
  alert("a is greater than b.");
} else {
  alert("a is not greater than b.");
}

sorry didn't look that it was a challenge...they are very strict you added in periods and that cause the problem
