If I am using Desktop Server do I still need to use FTP to create a child theme?

I don't understand why filezilla and ftp need to be used.

Hi Oliver,

You do not. Everything is local on your machine. Locations are different for Mac/Windows so would need to look them up specifically.

You just go into the themes folder and create a new folder for the child theme.
