Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Improving Our Code Dynamically Changing the Background Color

If relativeLayout is a new member variable, why do we not name it mRelativeLayout?

Does the naming convention of using the prefix "m" not apply in this case? If not, why?

Whoops, looks like he does it as a local variable instead of a member variable. You should be able to do it either way.
