If You Have A Python Background, Look Here..

I am new to Treehouse and I have been diving into html and CSS, but coming from a python background - I've decided to take up back-end development via the Ruby Track. One of the things that I missed instantly upon being introduced to Ruby is Python's IDLE. You can write code and instantly run it all from IDLE for that immediate satisfaction, while avoiding having to use the cmd line (I develop on Windows).

I found http://www.geany.org/ provides a great text editor with basic IDLE features. I preferred it to the course's Textmate and thought I'd share the info.
