/* Write your SCSS code below. */

@mixin cars($make, $color) { .#{$make} { border: 1px solid black; background-image: url("image/#{$color}.png"); } }

$time: "morning";

@if ($time == "morning") { a { color: red; } } @else if ($time == "afternoon") { a { color: blue; } } @else { a { color: gray; } }

Hi Matt,

I've found that errors in the task 4 code with the if/else directives will cause the .png error

All your if/else directives should be nested inside a singe a rule. Also, you don't need quotes around the values or parenthesis around the expressions.

Try this:

$time: morning;

a {
  @if $time == morning {
    color: red;
  } @else if $time == afternoon {
    color: blue;
  } @else {
    color: gray;
  }
}
