Illustrator - I can't see the fill on my shapes

All of the the sudden, all i can see is the outline of new shapes that I create. The only way I can see the fill and strokes on the shape is if I right click on the shape and click "Isolate Selected Path." I'm having trouble finding an option to reverse this. Does anyone know what my problem is?

Go to menu item "View" and make sure the first item says "Outline". If it says "Preview" it means you are in outline mode. You can simply click to be able to toggle between preview and outline views.
