Illustrator - Shape Looks Smaller when Color Is Changed

Hey guys,

I've created a logo and exported it as a PNG.

Take a look at the screenshots below, if I keep all the shapes as a color of white they look aligned perfectly, but as soon as I change one of the shapes to red they don't look aligned at the bottom edge.

It's a bit hard to tell from the photos but if you look closely at the second picture the red shapes bottom edge doesn't line up with the white shapes bottom edge. However when I have them all white they look perfect.

Hey Joe,

Did you apply any border (stroke) to the shapes? Could you provide a more close-up picture of the shape? How are you changing its colour?
