Java Java Objects (Retired) Harnessing the Power of Objects Method Signatures

I'm confused with the question. isn't mBarsCount -= laps saying -1 battery for every lap?

also what are arguments? I feel like I am getting lost with all the terminology

GoKart.java
public class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String mColor;
  private int mBarsCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public void drive(int laps) {
    // Other driving code omitted for clarity purposes
    mBarsCount -= laps;
  }

  public void drive() {
    GoKart += laps;
  }

  public void charge() {
    while (!isFullyCharged()) {
      mBarsCount++;
    }
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return mBarsCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;
  }

}

Hi Jimmy,

The challenge wants you to add a new method called drive that takes no arguments. As you can see you already have one method called drive (but it takes one argument int laps).

So try adding a new method called drive that calls the other drive method with an argument. Hint, like this.

public void drive() {
  drive(insert argument here) //hint: amount of laps
}

Good luck!

It took one time but I finally got it! I am shocked by how easy it was
