I'm doing 'introduction to HTML and CSS course. I can't get passed 2 of 2. The question is not asked clearly!

I've tried many combinations and with my basic knowledge cannot figure it out.

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>

    <h1> Welcome to My Web Page! </h1>

  </body>
</html>
styles.css
.h1 {
colour: purple;
}

Remove the dot (.) from your h1 selector inside of your css document.

Also, might want to remove the spaces on either side of the text inside of " <h1>" tag.

Hey Miles,

The spacing inside of your h1 tag is ok but you will need to remove the . before h1 and remove the "u" in color on your stylesheet.

h1 {
  color: purple;
}
