I'm getting a NAN (not a number) output from my code, it doesn't display the 'randomNumber' and 'bottomNumber'.

var input1 = prompt("Please type a starting number");
var bottomNumber = parseInt(input);
var input = prompt("Please type a number");
var topNumber = parseInt(input);
var randomNumber = Math.floor(Math.random() * (topNumber - bottomNumber + 1))  + bottomNumber;
var message = "<h1>" + randomNumber + " is a number between " + bottomNumber + " and " + topNumber + "</h1>";
document.write(message);

Change input1 to input

var input = prompt("Please type a starting number");
var bottomNumber = parseInt(input);
var input = prompt("Please type a number");
var topNumber = parseInt(input);
var randomNumber = Math.floor(Math.random() * (topNumber - bottomNumber + 1)) + bottomNumber;
var message = "<h1>" + randomNumber + " is a number between " + bottomNumber + " and " + topNumber + "</h1>";
document.write(message);

You declare var input1 but then use just input

thank's Kris :)

thats correct, thank's Mohammed :)
