I'm getting an error saying to make sure I am writing the conditional statement correctly. What am I missing?

const c = 30;

if (a > b) {
  console.log("a is greater than b");

The only thing I can find is that the <!DOCTYPE HTML> should be <!DOCTYPE html>

It's supplied that way by the challenge. And it's not case-sensitive, though its far more common to see it they way you are suggesting.

Odd, the code looks OK so I pasted it directly into the challenge and it passed.

The craziest thing actually; I removed the space between "if" and "(" and it accepted it. Wild. Thank you both for your input!
