I'm getting an error, What am I doing wrong?

var userName = lastName.toUpperCase();
var userName = id.toUpperCase();
userName += '#' + lastName;

Remove var userName = lastName.toUpperCase(); and add the string method toUpperCase() to line 4.

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase();
userName += '#' + lastName.toUpperCase();

userName += '#' + lastName.toUpperCase();

Last line was the error, works after adding "toUpperCase();" to lastName. Thanks.
