Im getting more space in the button just below the text rather than it being equal all the way around.

Ive followed the steps however I'm using a different font as the font in the video is not in the default fonts. Any ideas?

It sounds like your font might have an unusually generous allocation of space for descenders.

Try a different substitute font.

Ive tried a few different fonts and I'm still getting a large amount of space between the bottom of the text and the bottom of the text box, not the effect. The amount varies on different fonts but there is still a large space. Its really a minor thing I'm sure but it just makes the text on the button look out of center vertically
