JavaScript JavaScript Foundations Numbers Parsing Numbers From Strings

Im having trouble with the parseInt challenge task #1

I am fairly certain I am doing this task correctly, unless pixels work in a different number set than 10?

can you show us what you wrote?

var boxWidth = "640px"; var boxHeight = "480px";

  * var numWidth = parseInt("640", 10)*

I am supposed to extract the numeric value from "boxWidth"

It wants you to use the variable boxWidth it seems, try this

var numWidth = parseInt(boxWidth, 10);

Ah! That makes more sense thank you!
