I'm having trouble with this task - Next, add a background-image property and define a linear gradient as the value??

I wrote background-image: linear-gradient(red, blue, orange);

The instructions don't say anything about adding a "border-radius" property. That's probably confusing the validator. There's also a stray space between the value and the unit, but that in itself isn't causing the problem.

In general, you'll get the best results on the challenges by following the instructions carefully and not doing anything that they don't explicitly ask for.
