65,454 PointsAn excellent book I would recommend is Learn Python the Hard Way. Of course, you need to be pretty familiar with Python before reading this book, because, well, it is "hard"

10,363 PointsHey Fahad, I think Alexanders suggestion to go with the Learn Python the Hard Way book is great. I work with this book right now and love it. I would also recommend the Automate the boring stuff book. It is mentioned in the python forums very frequently.
