I'm not able to answer .format question .........why answers were not provided in test sections???

Q. OK, so now use .format() on the string "Treehouse loves {}" to put your name into the placeholder. Assign this to the variable subject again.

Try 1.

name = "rahul" print ("Treehouse loves {}".format(name))

Try 2

print ("Treehouse loves {}".format("Rahul"))

Hi Rahul,

A link to the challenge would help - can you post that?

The question seems to want you to assign the modified string into a variable called subject. It doesn't mention printing it, or a variable called name.

Maybe somethig like:

subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format("Rahul")

Let me know how you get on.
