Java Java Data Structures Organizing Data Serialization

I'm not getting it well!!

please I found at first that I don't get it. after a little search I found that serialization is a huge topic, the first reference here: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/platform/serialization/spec/serialTOC.html

its like a book and after a little reading I found lots of expressions that I don't understand like the object graph, circular reference, etc...

what I want to know is: Is it necessary to understand this at the moment and when I'm gonna be able to understand this thoroughly, please help me clear the ambiguity, thx.

No, it's not necessary to understand. Yes, I think it's useful to understand.

I, too, find it sometimes hard to understand Java documentation.
