I'm not sure what this challenge is asking me to do

When should I be calling reroll? Inside my doubles method? I'm confused.

You only need to define "reroll", you don't need to call it yourself.

Inside your definition, you need to return a new instance. When you create a new instance, __init__ is automatically called, you won't need to call it explicitly.
