im not sure what to do I've tried. everything

I put console.printf("):

Name.java
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "firstName";
console.printf("YOUR NAME");

in second task you will use console.printf to print "<YOUR NAME> can code in Java!"

String firstName = "MyName";
console.printf("<YOUR NAME> can code in Java!");

then you will use it with (%s) string placeholder to format the string

// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console

String firstName = "MyName";
console.printf("%s can code in Java!", firstName); // become -->  MyName can code Java!
