I'm not sure why my answer doesn't work

${flavor} + ' ' + ${type} + ': $' + ${price};

Any clue why it doesn't work?

const type = "Smoothie";

const drink = `${flavor} + ' ' + ${type} + ': $' + ${price}`;

Since you are using a template literal, you don't need the + to join everything together, try this:

const drink = `${flavor} ${type}: $${price}`;
