I'm not sure why this isn't working for the media query.

@media and screen (max-width : 705px) { .grid_1, .grid_2, .grid_3, .grid_4, .grid_5, .grid_6 { width: 100%; } }

Try: @media screen and (max-width : 705px) { .grid_1, .grid_2, .grid_3, .grid_4, .grid_5, .grid_6 { width: 100%; } }

("and" in wrong place)

I usually write: @media only screen and (max-width: 705px) rather than @media and screen (max-width: 705px)

See if that works.
