General Discussion

I'm planning to enroll in programming bootcamps like HackReactor and Bloc. Any recommendation?

My goal is to become a programmer and eventually to launch my own start-up. Thank you for your replies!

I am currently doing the Bloc Full Stack Web Development 18 week program .and am halfway through. So, far I feel like I am getting a lot out of Bloc, but I also am putting a lot into it. I had tried to teach myself to code by just using Codeacedemy and Treehouse, but found myself needing something more. Bloc has given me that extra push I needed. Bloc is fully online so I don't have to quit my job to attend an in person bootcamp. Also you work with your mentor doing pair programming and debugging. My mentor has saved me a few times when I just couldn't figure out. I have an awesome mentor who answers my emails daily and gives good feedback. I think if you are serious about learning to program bootcamps are a great way to go.The downside is prices for bootcamps can get really expensive and very time consuming. Good Luck!
