It's important to note that challenges are very picky. They are going to test your code and are expecting very specific results. Try not to include code that they don't specifically ask for. Most times it will cause your challenge to fail. After completing task 6 of 6 this is the entire contents of my css file. Take a look:

My advice is to start over at step one and do exactly what the instructions say. It does ask you to make changes to your HTML, but I only included the ending CSS ... not the ending HTML :) You have listed a LOT of html that shouldn't be in there.

I tried it again and it worked. Thank you so much!
