I'm sorry but these JavaScript lessons are not very engaging. They're just laundry overview of syntax.

Is it possible to have more interactive lessons like the CSS/HTML lessons?

Latest new update last month is Javascript Basics, everyone prefer this than old Javascript foundation. :)

The best badges in JS Foundations by far are the ones on functions and objects. The rest of the course is a little slow, I'll admit, but Treehouse is working quickly to replace it.

It's a good thing that the new course on loops, arrays, and objects is out just came out, then. Eventually, the aforementioned two courses will replace the old JS Foundations course.

As Salman said above, the old JavaScript Foundations course is a little old and it's in the process of being replaced. There is currently one course (JavaScript Basics) out right now that might be more suited to your taste, with another (JavaScript Loops, Arrays, and Objects) coming out next month.
