Python Python Basics (2015) Number Game App Even or Odd

I'm stuck on this task. Can anyone please help?

I'm missing something on this task (the first part of even.py). Have tried a few things but can't seem to get it. Very frustrating but worth it in the end.... (i hope)

Thanks....

even.py
def even_odd(num):

    num = int(input("> "))

    if num%2 == 0:
        return True
    else:
        return False

even_odd()

your even/odd logic is ok but the challenge doesn't ask you to take input from the user so delete that. the function takes an argument, num, and returns t/f. . you also don't need to call the function, so your last line can go. if you did need to call it you would need to provide an argument, so the call would be like even_odd(5), not even_odd().
