I'm thinking about upgrading to the tech degree program, should I take at least some of the basic courses?

I'm still a beginner. Right now I'm kinda starting over because I had to stop my subscription for four months. Any advice on weather I should just keep my basic subscription until I get through the basics, and then upgrading to the tech degree program thank you.

The tech degree program is perfect for someone wanting to build a strong set of skills and knowledge to land a job in the web development industry (or whatever you want to do in the tech industry), although I would strongly recommend taking some courses on the regular plan first, this will allow you to understand how treehouse teach and get used to it. Because the tech degree program is a lot more expensive, and you want to know that you will use it to it's fullest

thank you for your for your answer. which beginner courses should I finish first before moving to the tech degree program. (My end goal is to become a developer and get a job)

It strongly depends on what you would like to develop. As you are a beginner I would recommend starting with the front end web development or Web Design track to get a good basis of coding and web design! Good luck!
