I'm trying to establish a remote connect for the first time from my laptop to my git repository on Github..

So I believe this is the address

git remote add origin https://github.com/TheC0mposer/MyFirstRepository.git

And for some reason I recieved this error

fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

Either you forgot to do the git init command, it failed for some reason, or you moved away from the directory you were working in.
