Python Python Basics (2015) Shopping List App Shopping List Introduction

Im using sublime text and when i try to write something in my list i get a error message in my terminal.

It says that what ever i type in is "not defined". How do i solve this?

shopping_list = []

print("What should we pick up at the store ?") print("Enter 'DONE' to stop adding steps ")

while True: new_item = input("> ")

if new_item == "DONE": break

shopping_list.append(new_item)

print("Here is your list: ")

for item in shopping_list: print(item)

It took a bit of debuuging but I think I got it. It looks like you left out your else clause.

shopping_list = []

print("What should we pick up at the store ?")
print("Enter 'DONE' to stop adding steps ")

while True:
    new_item = input("> ")
    if new_item == "DONE":
        break
    else:

        shopping_list.append(new_item)

        print("Here is your list: ")

        for item in shopping_list: print(item)
