iMac screenshot

is there any way that if i find something interesting or whatever, i make a screenshot and put in the folder?

There are lots of ways to take a screenshot on a Mac, here are a few

To take a screenshot of the whole screen in OS X use ⌘⇧3, to take a screenshot of a specific window use ⌘⇧4 and to take a screenshot of a specific region use ⌘⇧4 again followed by space. All of these will save to your desktop.
