image slider??

I want to put a jquery image slider on my page. I haven't used one before so I was just looking for some advice on plugins people would recommend.

What I'm looking for really is your typical slider next and prev arrow buttons with the circle pager marks along the bottom. I would also like the pictures to fade into the next one rather than slide.

Any recommendations would be great. Thanks in advance

Well this ain't a straight answer but if you check the course on jQuery here on Treehouse you can learn to do one with Andrew ( the course contains the standard jQuery slider ). But you can change it to your liking and use other functions.
