I am setting up an asset bank for a client and found a couple of solutions - I need about 250gb of storage online - Is there a reason I should not be considering Google Drive for this?

I see Google Drive more as an end user solution. If your client wants to have cloud storage then I would recommend Google Drive. If your client needs an enterprise level backend to store assets that will be primarily managed through an application, then I would recommend Amazon S3.
