Image tags... What am i doing wrong?

I'm having trouble with this. The directions say "Inside the three new list items, add the following images: "number-01.jpg", "number-02.jpg", "number-06.jpg". Leave the alt attributes blank, and don't add any captions or links. Just the images!"

I wrote: <ul> <li> <img src="img/number-01.jpg" alt""> </li> </ul> and etc for the second and third picture.

I'm just not understanding what I'm doing wrong... help!

Your code looks correct. If I remember correctly, the issue is that you put the img/ in the src attribute. In this example, I don't think they have the images in a separate folder.

Try without it:

img src="number-01.jpg" alt""

It worked! Thank you so much!
