Images wont show up in browser

There is a typo in that file name: "img/new-cupcake-Jalepeno.jpeg" should be "img/new-cupcake-jalapeno.jpg"

Make sure the images are in a folder called 'img' which is in the same working directory of your index.html.

Hi there, it looks like the paths to your files are not correct, have you downloaded the img folder and is it in the same folder as your index.html file?

Ok there showing up now but <img src="img/featured-cupcake.jpeg" alt="this is a picutre of a avacado cupcake"> and that is the only one not showing up. is there something wrong with the code i typed up?

Changing the alt attribute typo shouldn't effect the image not being displayed - which images are not showing up in the code you have posted?

Make sure the image names are correct and make sure they are in the correct folder together. Also check that your using the right file extension (.gif/.png/.jpeg).

They are all with the correct extension and in the same file.

Did you try to add this? websitewaters-island01-stage02 So, it should be <img src="websitewaters-island01-stage02/img/logo.gif"…. Hope it works

O.k. you are using jpeg instead of jpg as your file extension. If you change the file extensions in your html to jpg that will fix it. For info I would put your image folder and index.html into a separate folder on your desktop to keep things tidy.

Ok that almost fixed it but the jelapeno image does not show up. I have tried it as a gif a jpeg and a jpg extension file but it still doesn't show up
