IMG System Help Please.

Hey guys.

So my local baseball club has asked me to design a new website for them. They have told me that it needs to be on the IMG System, however I'm not 100% sure as to what this is.

I did a little googleing and the only info in relation to web development I could find were some businesses that are called 'IMG something' and they offer a network of websites along with membership management and e-commerce. It was kind of vague as to what exactly an IMG System is.

Can anyone explain what the system is and how I go about developing a website for it. Do I need to do anything in particular for it?

Any info would be really helpful.

Thanks.

Hi Nathan, the quickest (and best) answer would be to ask them directly. I'm not sure, but your job as a designer is also to translate what your client is telling you. They (usually) don't know the technical aspect, and they might heard some things without knowing exactly what it is. They might confuse IMG for something else, and if they don't, you have a lot of IMG systems (what I found in googlin is a Information Management Global Systems). So try to ask them, their answer will be richer and closer to what you have to do. Hope it could help you.

Hi Giovanni. Thanks for getting back to me.

Yehh I should definitely ask them more specifically. I thought it may have been some kind of specific development platform. I'll post back here once I find out what it is.

Thanks.
