Import Errors-styles.xml

Hey treehouse,

I have been working on the Build a Crystal Ball app on my pc tower. But decided to check out eclipse on my mac book. However, I am having problems downloading/importing the files in. For some reason I'm getting errors on all my values/styles.xml files. They say "error:Error retrieving parent for item: NO source found that matches the given name 'Theme.App.Compat.Light'".

These are the files downloaded straight from my current video.

Are the files in the res / xml folder?

Yes. I even tried replacing them with the files from my pc version that are working properly. They are exactly the same. I'm not really sure what to do now.

I think there is a bug in Eclipse on the Mac. You might try NetBeans.

Hi,

Hope this would work. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17870881/cant-find-theme-appcompat-light-for-new-android-actionbar-support I did step 2 and all errors were gone.
