anyone experience with importing html?

i thought it is funny how we can use css from an external stylesheet, but not HTML as it seems. or browsers cant handle it well?

but for projects with large amounts of pages it would be nice to be able to import chunks of code and have them combined through gulp in html pages.

anyone experience with this plugin? does it work well? https://www.npmjs.com/package/gulp-html-import
