in dont understand why task 1 wont pass.

i went back made it pass and on completing the next one it doesnt. and it refers to the button buy its correct id

Hi there! You're doing great, but I think maybe you typed a little too quickly? You have typed getElementByInput instead of getElementById. The input variable is being assigned the element with the ID of phraseText.
