In Eclipse, the emulator (AVD) doesn't display once it's launched.

I'm on OS 10.6.8

Hi Craig,
Did you get stuck at the black screen?

Have you downloaded and installed the Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator in the Extras category of the SDK?
How much RAM memory did you specify for the emulator? try lowering it to around 768MB or 512MB and have another go?
I once had this issue before and these are the methods I tried to resolve the issue.
