In section for splitting and joining, (banana.py), when I get to the last question i get an error for task 1.

In section for splitting and joining, (banana.py), when I get to the last question i get an error for task 1.

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are:{}."
display_menu = .format(", ".join(sundaes))

1 Answer

  1. For the display_menu variable, you just need to join the sundaes list, not format it.
  2. Move the menu variable to AFTER the display_menu variable then format menu from there (menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(display_menu)

Hope this helps :)
