In the TodoList class fill in the empty? method to return a boolean value

I've tried index = 0 if todo_items > 1 puts false else puts true end

todo_list.rb 
class TodoList
  attr_reader :name, :todo_items

  def initialize(name)
    @name = name
    @todo_items = []
  end

  def add_item(name)
    todo_items.push(TodoItem.new(name))
  end

  def empty?
    index = 0
    if todo_items > 1
      puts false
    else
      puts true
    end
  end

end

Hi Tracey,

You want the empty? method to return true or false, not print to standard output. I got a pass by checking the length of the @todo_items array as so:

class TodoList
  attr_reader :name, :todo_items

  def initialize(name)
    @name = name
    @todo_items = []
  end

  def add_item(name)
    todo_items.push(TodoItem.new(name))
  end

  def empty?
    if todo_items.length >= 1
      return false
    else
      return true
    end
  end

end
