In xcode working swift I did something to make the text box disappear in assistant editor and I cant get it back. Help!

I am taking video lessons on swift basics (on the fifth section I think), I did something that made the text box in assistant editor disappear. I cant get it back. The assistant editor area is just blank. I tried creating another playground, restarting, etc. My old playgrounds and any new ones I create are also affected. I am frustrated. Please Help.

I'm not sure which box you're talking, but, i think the view menu has your answer.

if you go up to the view menu on the top of your screen, there are lots of choices under the first two heading, there's a standard editor and assistant editor with lots of options.
