Hi

The task is asking you to add a type attribute to the input element, TreeHouse might throw an error if you added extra.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>HTML Forms</title>
  </head>
  <body>

    <form action="index.html" method="post">
      <input type="text" />
    </form>

  </body>
</html>

Good Luck!
