Is going to be a problem is I try install ruby manually and then install again using VM? or I have to choose between this 2 method?

36,441 PointsNo problem, these are two separate things. You should decide at some point which one to use in the long run though :)

6,546 Pointsahh OK, I see that most ruby course in treehouse use VM to install. I'll go with VM then :)

36,441 PointsTreehouse's VMs are good, because they give you dedicated machines for each course with proper versions of Ruby, Rails and other gems. Using different versions than the ones in the videos can cause a lot of frustration.
