Installation failed: Could not create directory.

when I try to install the plugin this is the message I get

Can you include more information regarding your problem such as what plugin are you trying to install and is it a local environment or a hosted installation?

When you can't create directories automatically you normally have to address file writing permissions but if you include more specific information regarding your problem, I may be able to come with a better answer. ;-)
