Installing .js files via SFTP

Hi guys,

I need help installing javascript files onto my wordpress website but for the life of me can't figure it out. I've tried uploading the files through sftp and calling them on page but can't seem to get it to work.

I want to install this script but nowhere on the internet does it tell me exactly step by step how to do it. The instructions always say things like:

  1. install
  2. add code
  3. enjoy...

Please help me successfully install and execute this script:

BTW I watched and did the into to javascript video, and while it was the most helpful thing out so far, I still can't get it to work.
